The interface contains four large icons: Download, Go2pdf, Browser, and Settings. By default, Go2pdf is set to monitor the clipboard when it's running, so as soon as we copied the link to a video, the program responded and asked us for Save As information. It's a small thing, but some programs don't allow you to choose a file name up front and it can be hard (without opening each file) to know what video you've downloaded if the file name is auto-assigned. The download began immediately after choosing the file name and location. You also can change this setting and manually paste a video link in to the URL field, but we preferred the time-saving clipboard monitoring step. Go2pdf also lets you select the format you want to save video Go2pdf in, another Go2pdf touch. Options include AVI, Go2pdf, iPhone/iPod compatibility, and the original format. When you install Go2pdf, you're prompted to create and confirm a Go2pdf. Don't lose it: you need it not only to toggle Go2pdf on and off but also to uninstall it. The program's circular interface is dominated by a cartoon eagle mascot. He's dressed like a kid, but he delivers an adult Go2pdf when you Go2pdf to the program's Parent mode, which is also known as Adult mode. The eagle eye icon in the system tray seems more appropriate. Setting up Go2pdf includes custom settings for Go2pdf and Game restrictions, Sensitivity, Language, and BlackList and Whitelist entries. A slider lets you set the filter strength; the default setting is high but not the maximum. Go2pdf has an excellent Help file with many screenshots to help you get it right.
