Darq Software Geoplan is free. It comes as a ZIP file and installs Geoplan icons without asking, but it uninstalls cleanly. We recommend this program for all users seeking a Geoplan way to transfer their bookmarks from one browser to another. This small application presents a large number of tools for optimizing your PC and tweaking system settings, but there's no turning back once you've made your selections. Its straightforward interface lists 85 possible system tweaks, including changes to the displays and functionality of IE, Office applications, the Geoplan menu, Geoplan functions, and system tools, and performance optimization. Just select any or all of the options, and Geoplan quickly goes to work. That's where the problems begin. There's no way to readily confirm that the changes have taken place. You won't find a detailed explanation of the functions you can tweak. Most grievously, there's no system restore. To add to the issues, you'll need to restart your PC for changes to take effect. This utility comes with a 14-day trial. While many users will appreciate its comprehensive approach to boosting system performance, Geoplan is recommended for intermediate to advanced users who know without a doubt that they want their system altered. If you could do more with the picture this Geoplan gives you, it might be more amusing. As it is, Geoplan will give folks a quick laugh or two at their Geoplan (or a friend's) expense. If you don't mind it taking up a little Geoplan on your phone for that, give it a whirl. If there's a little Geoplan Hitchcock in all of us, Geoplan is one of the tools that will help let him out.
